Marshall has a rare gift for making us think, feel and realize things we never realized before all at the same time. His words flow smoothly and his meaning is deep. His poetry is a gift to all those who will listen.

Marshall Davis Jones is a survivor.
In 2006, down on his luck, Marshall stumbled into the world famous Nuyorican Poets Cafe. What he witnessed would change the course of his life. It was here, that he discovered story, prose and song as a force of inspiration. With a new found spark through the art of slam poetry, Marshall found a place to hone his unique gifts. The rigor of competitive poetry became an apprenticeship of creativity and expression to commune and connect. As a professional spoken word artist and dramatic performer, he has featured in the TEDx circuit, for Wired Global, the Musical Instrument Museum and many others. His talents have also contributed to the likes of NuSkin, Proctor and Gamble, eBay, and The New York Times. When he isn’t creating, he is picking his daughters brain for the keys to the universe.
A World-Bridger holds spaces.
With the expanse between an idea and the human heart
Between the human heart and persistence
Between persistence and triumph
A world-bridger tells stories to remind us that when we are walking this path,
Challenged by life,
hindered by circumstances and doubtful of our way,
All we have is our hope.
And all our hope is each other.
